On January 4, 2022 the National Level Public Hearing was organized by the DSK consortium at Conference Room, Parliament Members Club, Parliament Bhaban, Dhaka. Ms. Habibun Nahar, MP, Honorable Deputy Minister, Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) was the Chief Guest of the event. The event was chaired by Mr. Tanvir Sakil Joy, MP, Honorable Member, Parliamentary Standing Committee on MoEF&CC.
The objective of the event was to raise the community voices in the process of pursuing and influencing responsive duty bearers to instigate their functional duties to address slum dwellers’ environmental issues for a healthy life of the low-income communities.
